About Ruth

I relocated to the high desert of Oregon in 2020. My cousin began calling me the sagebrush queen, hence the name of my business! It's taken me some time to get settled and organized to begin creating again. My lifelong love for horses, led me to buy a 6 month old colt in 2005 and subsequently, I learned natural horsemanship training methods and the tools. I began making/selling rope halters and training leads in 2008. I also had an embroidery business and provided genealogy research for many years as well. Currently though, my focus in on the rope halters and training leads. I intend to branch out, as time allows in the future.
