Made from Premium 9/16 "Polyester Double Braid Rope, chosen for it's excellent properties to transfer motion and energy through the lead from human to horse. This rope is strong, abrasion and UV resistant, and washable. *Available without leather popper starting at $30; 10' $30, 12' $34 and 14' $38. Loop splice and tail end splice are stitched. Loop end is sold without any hardware so there is zero chance of anything to break, nothing to hit your horses chin area if you need to put more motion in the lead. Additionally, there is not added weight at the loop under then chin to cause downward pull at the horses pole. If you want to have a clip at the chin to attach the lead, you can purchase one in the size and type you prefer.
Since the tail end of the lead is spliced into itself, it causes the end to be weighted and thicker there. This eliminates the need for a leather popper which will get brittle and degrade in time. You will see that in the event you need to swing it at your horse, or make contact, it will do the job!!!! I can add a leather popper if you want for additional $4.
